Rush Limbaugh and President Trump
Rush Limbaugh was an "original thinker."
As sharp as he was Rush once stated that if he could have anyone else's brain it would be the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. Self-deprecation aside Rush knew how politically astute he could be.
One of his most spot on quotes that he often used was
"the left will always tell you who they fear."
In the 1990's Rush was drawing the ire of Democrats for speaking out on his popular radio show. Three hours a day, Monday through Friday he would castigate them for their flawed and harmful social policies while also calling out their willing accomplices in the news media.
And why was he taking so much incoming? Because his admonitions were effective and right over all their left wing, progressive targets.
Fast forwarding to the present day we see how Rush's quote correctly applies in spades to what the same corrupt actors have been perpetrating against President Trump.
The President has however triumphed over his detractors and is back in the White House.
In 2021 Rush sadly was taken from us before his time. He never got to share in the excitement of the 2024 campaign victory. We all know that in spirit he never left the fight.
Thankfully, President Trump did get to honor Rush with the much deserved Medal of Freedom at the State of the Union address in 2020.
Isn't it time for an evening to celebrate Rush Limbaugh, perhaps at Maralago?
In rememberence, Rush would often remark
"he was doing what he was born to do."
He sure was!
A man, a legend, a way of life...
